Presented In-Person in the Library.

Join us for six biweekly sessions of improvisational storytelling designed to stoke mental agility and spark new social connections. The sessions will culminate in a collaborative writing project. No experience necessary. Starting Wednesday, September 4 at 1;30pm in the library, the sessions will be led by improv master and Second City alum Sue Gillan along with long-time magazine journalist and multimedia storyteller, Shane DuBow. All are welcome. Enrollment is limited, so sign up now and come out and play!

Sue Gillan, an Evanston native, has been a professional writer, actor, director, and improv performer for 25 years. Starting her career at Chicago’s famed Second City theater, Sue has gone on to lead hundreds of improv workshops all over the world. Currently, you can also watch Sue pretend to be a therapist on the NBC sitcom “Shrink.”

Shane DuBow is a long-time magazine journalist and multimedia storyteller, editor, and college essay coach with a background in academia, and museum exhibit design.
