Join us for a Senior Day Trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin - the Custard Capital of the World!
We will start with lunch at a classic Milwaukee diner complete with poodle skirts. After our bellies are full, we'll take a stroll along the Milwaukee Riverwalk - a perfect photo opportunity!
We'll then head out for a "custard crawl" with stops at three historic custard stands, a narrated guided city tour, and a historical tour - and shopping! - in the Village of Greendale.
The trip to the Custard Capital of the World is on Thursday, May 16 from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Senior Day Trip transportation is underwritten by the Levy Senior Center Foundation. Day Trip participants meet at the Levy Senior Center and are provided transportation in a new-and-exclusive Senior Bus.
The fee for this Senior Day Trip is $60 for Levy members and $75 for nonmembers. The class number is 514009A8. You can register in person at the Levy Senior Center or on the City of Evanston website.
The Levy Senior Center Foundation also allocates Dennis Newton Scholarships for seniors who wish to attend Senior Day Trips but are financially incapable.
