Day Trip to the IL Holocaust & Educational Museum

Join the Levy Center on a Senior Day Trip to the Illinois Holocaust & Educational Museum in Skokie on Monday, April 29.

We will have a guided tour of the Karkomi Holocaust Exhibition. Trip goers will experience pre-war European life, ghettos and concentration camps, liberation and resettlement around the world through more than 500 artifacts, documents, photographs, and a German rail car of the type used in Nazi deportations.

Afterwards, we will have boxed lunches that include specialty roll sandwiches, pickle, fruit cup and cookie dessert. After lunch, we will view the documentary “Take a Stand Center: Abe & Ida Cooper Survivor Stories Experience” and will have free time.
