Join us for a Senior Day Trip to see a play based on the classic film Steel Magnolias. The Theatre at the Center in Munster, IN, presents a hilarious and heart-warming play set in a Louisiana beauty shop, inspired by the 1989 film Steel Magnolias.
The play follows the hopes, dreams, triumphs and tragedies of six colorful characters all the while exploring relationship bonds.
Lunch, transportation and ticket to the performance are included in the fee. Lunch choice is Baked North Atlantic Cod or Chicken Breast a la King with Puffed Pastry. Make your selection at the time of registration.
The trip to see Steel Magnolias is on Thursday, March 22 from 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Senior Day Trip transportation is underwritten by the Levy Senior Center Foundation. Day Trip participants meet at the Levy Senior Center and are provided transportation in a new-and-exclusive Senior Bus.
The fee for this Senior Day Trip is $69 for Levy members and $84 for nonmembers. The class number is 514007A8.
The Levy Senior Center Foundation also allocates Dennis Newton Scholarships for seniors who wish to attend Senior Day Trips but are financially incapable.
